The best Sonic Youth album for this would be Washing Machine since it climaxes in "The Diamond Sea". I once got a really amazing blow job while stoned, with that playing. Talk about peak experiences!

I can totally agree with the My Bloody Valentine choice, but then there's stoner and stoner. I've noticed some people go for the mellow stuff like Belle And Sebastian or even 60's french pop, modern composers like Gavin Bryars and Terry Riley. I very rarely smoke, so if the druggy experience takes place, it has to be more mechanical and energetic sounding rather than comatose, in which case gritty electronica, electro or stuff like Philip Jeck (for some reason ), raw garage punk or pop music are more the choice. Pure disco makes me drink.

i don't do any, but when i was watchin My Cat is An Alien live or listen to them on record i feel like i am just vapid and entranced, that's the only band that has done that to me

I tend to find that music designed for people to get stoned to rarely does it for me (coming from the man who just chose Dopethrone as his fave stoner album!). I tend to prefer listening to stuff that's quite light and naive - pop stuff mostly. The Bangles always sound absolutely fantastic to me, when I'm stoned.

Anything that's too heavy, chaotic or loud makes me feel anxious, especially when I'm trying to concentrate on rolling.
My friend made me an awesome compilation of Nada Surf songs, I think the majority of the songs where off their High/Low album.

I listen to Low daily, and since I'm Dutch :D I smoke weed almost daily (sometimes have to work next day too ...). So any Low album does it for me, especially the Great Destroyer, except the last one (Drums & Guns) it's got too many weird/annoying soundeffects.
