i remember her from that offspring video, and she was in Almost famous, and in an episode of frasier.

i didn't say you were a liar crypto, i just find all this hard to believe. |
To a certain point I'm really not arsed.
I used to be smitten with a girl who wasn't the thinnest I've ever seen, she was a little chubby, but I liked her that way because it seemed real and right. Over-skinny girls are probably more repulsive to me than anything. My rule is, if you can clearly make out the skeleton, you're out, baby. |

that's Zooey's sister. and her name is indeed Emily. i've mostly dated thick girls. i'm totally attracted to them. Robert Crumb knows where it's at. its disgusting the expectations society has on women. totally absurd. ps- what i would give to see Nigella's boobs.. |

not always true... i'm a size 4 but i'm also 5'2, so i can be considered "curvy". if a girl is short enough she can be a size 1 or 2 and still look normal. |

Sorry I should have been clearer, I was referring to what society regards as "average" i.e. around 5'5" And yes I agree with you someone shorter or taller would'nt necessarily appear to be skinny |

eeeew, her boobs are ugly
edit: thats mean, i just don't like her nipples. |

We went to same school! ;) I want to change job and I'm applying for some representative/communication positions right now, and they are so fuc*ing inquisitive and demanding about your height/weight/clothes size on the application forms! That style of pressure can sure make a girl turn kinda obsessive and oversensitive about weight issue... |
You girls shoudn't worry about weight. Just take me - I'm so fat I have to be airlifted to and from the pub. Now if you will excuse me, my pre-lunch box of doughnuts have arrived from Krispy Kreme.

yeah, but no one's ever got a girl from lying about stuff on the internet. (on second thoughts, that's probably not true, but still) for the record i like a bit of fully formed T&A too, but it really depends on the girl, all shapes and sizes can be good |

god!, can they even do that? what kind of work do you do? |

I just like my girls to look healthy, is that so much to ask?
|
well i vary between a size 6-8... i'm not really skinny though, i've got some muscles (especially around my legs) that give me some shape and make me be heavier than you'd expect :). so i wear small sizes, but i definitely don't look like a bag of bones...
anyway, i feel normal until i look into those women's magazines. afterwards i feel chubby. i think it's because those magazines are all about 'what's wrong and how to correct it' |
Quote:
no kidding...seems every women's magazine has a headline claiming to help you "lose those last ten pounds!" sickening, really. |
Quote:
yeah, or how to dress so you look slimmer... and then there's the photoshopping... it's so clear to see :P |

Yes, apparently that's how it works. It's in the cosmetic sector, I guess that's why it's like that. |
i think that history will show that girls are down with being anyway they want.
personally i dont like very skinny girls but if someone is a nice person then i dont really care about their size. having said that i suppose there are limits. |
Sigh, what an amazing thread. It's rare you go to a message board and feel strangely uplifted. You guys rule.
I've always been on the 10-12 side of things (at 5'10"), and have problems in most women's boutiques finding a size to fit me. It's dehumanizing. Like you think, "omg, what a cute little shop and those beautiful dresses". You walk in and there's a waif behind the counter giving you a crusty look like "good luck finding anything in here fat girl" It drives me nuts and makes me wanna throw up my lunch. I'm not gonna lie, I do obsess a little and get on the scale every single day and when it goes up a pound or two I feel awful. But for the most part I just feel like, fuck society, I feel good/healthy or whatever and I know I'm not obese. My BMI is normal. I try not to give into it but it's really tough. These thoughts totally bring ya down. On the flip side, there are some women who can't gain weight. I think an all around body acceptance for however you are made is a healthy outlook. After all each and every man out there has a slighly different view of "sexy" and that's GREAT! Cuz lord knows there's every single size/shape out there for 'em. Heh, heh, my roommate (a dude) and his buddy sometimes go out on the town "panda hunting". (mega-curvy gals with cute faces) I think it's cute. |

this board is awesome.. all you guys like healthy-looking women and all women in here are beautiful.. we should win some prize :)
|
![]() there you are. |
great:)

that's more to do with women's magazines exploiting the insecurities of their readers than anything to do with what looks good. |
