this is a problem for which the grateful dead found a ready solution. play as often as fucking possible, for forty years straight, five nights a week of available, and the trick to get the mass distribution of records, play EVERYWHERE and ALWAYS let people record your shows, even straight from the soundboard...

They might have found the solution to that, but the problem with them is that they have always been a ghastly band.
