they should define songwriter, what's the difference between a real, all around songwriter and a lyricist, arranger, composer, etc.?

because some of the people in their are good in one of those areas but suck on others and that doesn't make them good songwriters, now does it?

There are 100 people on the freaking list. Of course no one is going to be happy with the order. Basically, if it were assembled my way, they picked the top 10 and threw in the other 90 in random order. No list of 100 best anything will ever be good. Too many people to please, and too many things to consider.
