what a funny piece of crap me is....

btw is greed-recording your label? cause you title yourself as the king of it?

uhler 10.22.2008 07:02 PM

i'm a big fan of from here to infinity and east jesus.

al shabbray 10.22.2008 07:08 PM

when hooker starts to drum in a rythmic way which locks with lees playing, that are awesome moments of their live recordings

SonicBebs 10.29.2008 02:46 PM

Amarillo Ramp arrived this morning!
on the 1st track now. Really beautiful

SonicBebs 10.30.2008 05:04 AM

played it 3 times last night, love it. The guitar on the 1st track is sublime, then immense. So powerful. the 2nd one is great too.

RanaldoNecro 10.30.2008 08:25 AM

Skip Tracer riff is amazing. Even thought it seems he can't quite make it sound
'correct' There is a dead note or two in there..

It adds to its charm..

Toxa 10.30.2008 07:12 PM

"From Here to Infinity" is a masterpiece.

also, check out GATE and TEXT OF LIGHT stuff. and be prepared for GLACIAL. I think they will blow our minds very soon.

SonicBebs 10.31.2008 03:58 AM

i wish i lived in NY. ALthough i'm sure theres some similiar stuf happening in London. Maybe i should check the London gig guide thread eh?

guitarpro 12.16.2008 04:14 PM

All of em lol

sophteonal 12.16.2008 08:54 PM

Amarillo Ramp is probably the best introduction since it's so eclectic, but Dirty Windows is my favorite. If you're really into Lee's poetry/guitarscapes, track it down and hear it, it's incredible. Driftier than Notebook from Amarillo Ramp, but you get the idea...

Yeah, it would be great to have a songy Lee album.

deflinus 12.16.2008 09:01 PM

Notebook is a really great track. i love that piece so much

Out Trios. thats the one

tesla69 12.17.2008 09:50 AM

I heard a very solid rumor about a Glacial lp next year...yes, lp.

blunderbuss 12.17.2008 10:27 AM

That would be fantastic, so long as it's not a limited edition of 5 copies or something. Is it to be on Threelobed, by any chance? It'd be very cool if it was, as that would probably mean there would be a free CD copy for every purchaser, plus extra exclusive stuff for pre-orders.

I have good news for you.
It is confirmed that Lee's songwriting LP will be out anytime before 2020.
Happy?

To go off topic, I just have to gush for a moment about this year's Threelobed releases, if it wasn't enough to put out the amazing Cd boxset, they released some fantastic vinyl, that MV/ee, the Bardo Pond and the Jack Rose all come to mind immediately. I agree, that would be awesome if they were going to do the release.

they're running a crazy sale on the boxset right now. which reminds me, the Lee disc on the set is really fine stuff, no leftovers...prime material.

That CD is really good. The piano piece with the audience background is fantastic.
The glacial release should have been a scoop for the sonic 2009 thread! :)
Nevermind I'm having some other surprise...
