I love Charles.

He is definitely part of the hole in the infinite.

That's okay. I probably won't finish this film for another couple of months. If you don't send me any stuff from now till then, that's okay, I'll still use what I have. Improvise!!

I wouldn't consider Manson all that exceptionally intelligent. In fact, like I said, his intellect seems pretty stunted. He's convinced of himself, which is always intellectual death.

atsonicpark 08.21.2009 10:29 AM

I think he's EXTREMELY intelligent -- in a few areas. If you really listen to what he has to say, he makes a lot of sense. But I don't think he could, like, you know, talk to you about math or science really. He is definitely a brilliant manipulator, and he's wonderfully sensational. He's also extremely interesting. He knows exactly what he's doing. I think he's treated by some as this God-like figure, but if you actually watch him talk about that, he's like "I'm just a bum, just a nobody." I think he likes to play games with people. I dunno.

All I know is, his rants are some of the most entertaining I've ever heard, up there with Dennis Leary's!

SONIC GAIL 08.21.2009 02:24 PM

Just because you can convince others into doing something does not make you intelligent. It makes you PATHETIC cause you cannot do them yourself.

I was on this side, once.

All human infrastructure makes sense to the goals that the average one seeks to attain but it's all very much imagined to correspond within the reality they interact and thus what is intelligence?

Why dismiss Charles Manson, though why hail him as a god, why hail anybody as god or why not hail every motherfucker as god in some motherfuck way?

atsonicpark 08.21.2009 03:35 PM

WHOREOHSCOPE 08.21.2009 03:38 PM

There's only one side to choose.

Bitch cinematographer rolls bitch cinematography, do I play the role? The palatable chief in command, do I give a fuck?

Salaam
Secret, and the SS secrets and sacred, is a synonymous viewpoint when you look at it from the dead. Everything that was never told and held to the death, and was killed... martyred hearts to hold and held forth to the death that becomes a viewpoint, secret holy ghost.
We the mind think, and are thought- there we are men of truth, righteous brothers' honor and had no way of knowing things and the ways kept from us. We all looked to death row where we thought brothers were being kept. We looked up to the strongest images, to the father. Gods mind in the flesh. Old cowboys, heroes, past wars and even bandits, crooks and revolutionists.
We look for the patriarch soldier as we were told and shown on tv and movies. They died for our rights and all we thought was ‘love and real'. Then the end of acts and stars changed our minds. We saw the covers were not real. The cover is real but like rubber apples- they look good but you can't eat them.
What was kept secret or concealed as we lived our lives in 2 world wars, cover ups-past.
On from the money heads, all the good real and love was murdered right before our eyes. We saw it but we were told and taught and we had no way to find out but to go through it. Our Souls the soul kept calling the eyes of the soul- seen one thing, our souls were going one way and your words and ways were going the other- so we ended up on death row in a war that started before our granddads were born.
The egg broke in 1969. The courtroom I was in, in the 1940's when the USA was calling war a crime and crime became a war my court room became. When the Manson cult went to death row to redeem the brother, we thought was there it was there but in the graves. The secrets and keeping word true Manson was raised up in prison not knowing that the people that kept their word were hung and put to death and that there was only a movie left, and money slaves. I hold the worlds in English and the secrets of the bottom line underworld. SS, death head cult, death, will of revolution and pirate USN George Washington, USA, USSR, China, Japan and Germany and all the good Indians.
Charles Manson

I admit he's entertaining and probably very smart compared to a lot of people around him but nothing he's said hasn't been better said before.

floatingslowly 08.21.2009 03:58 PM

genius and insanity often go hand-in-hand.

that doesn't excuse intelligent people from acting like monsters.

pbradley 08.21.2009 04:12 PM

"A man without ethics is a wild beast loosed upon this world."

It does take a certain level of intelligence to challenge socially-given norms and values but I think it is a greater sign of intelligence to develop an ethics for oneself that isn't either contrarian or selfishly isolated.

This.

atsonicpark 08.21.2009 04:50 PM

huh

girlgun 08.21.2009 05:23 PM

he's so contrived. it's like that 15-year-old you know that does everything they can for attention and to be weird. manson is also a pussy. scared to go into the real world. everytime he's up for parole, he acts out in a way that can assure they won't let him out.

sadly, he doesn't even compare to the monsters of today.

i also find the fact he's such a pop icon and soooo... idolized disgusting.

demonrail666 08.21.2009 05:25 PM

the worst crime manson ever committed was being as boring as he is.

This Is Not Here 08.21.2009 05:32 PM

This thread is incredibly boring, and cringe worthy throughout. "I luv u charlie ur so clever - look at me! I luv a merdrer!!"

pbradley 08.21.2009 05:37 PM

atsonicpark 08.22.2009 08:08 AM

What's everyone's favorite Manson song?

Mine's probably PEOPLE SAY I'M NO GOOD. I can relate. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrvXl7JNYnI)

People say I'm no good
But they never never do they say
Why their world is so mixed up
Or how it got that way

They all look at me and they frown
Do I really look so strange
If they really dug themselves
I know they'd want to change

Everybody says you're no good
'Cause you don't do like they think you should
Do you expect them
An' do you expect you to act like them
Look at them man
Look at the fix they're in

I don't care I don't care what they say
Just let 'em sit there and burn
The young might not be so dumb after all
An' from the young you might even learn

Everybody says you're no good
'Cause Charles you don't do
You don't do like they think you should
Do you expect them to act like you
Do you expect them
To expect you to act like them
Do you expect to see
Do you expect the fool to see what a fix he's in
Do you expect the fool to see what a fix he's in

In your cardboard houses
An' your tin-can cars
You sit there and you wonder
You wonder where you are

Those diamond rings they're obscene
You sit there and you wonder
And you say who's to blame
Take a look at yourself
Take yourself off the shelf
You can't belong to nobody

With your Can't-Cough medicine
And your wonder drug
You got, more sickness
Than you got cures of
Cancer o' the mind

Bingo.

This Is Not Here 08.22.2009 08:50 AM

Anyway. Isn't there an interview where Kim says her borther's girlfriend (or some relation) was killed by manson?

That's the smartest thing anyone's said in this thread.
