BTW - the ticket pickup will-call was sort of a nightmare, VERY SLOW. one person was some kind of problem with id and the whole line got held up for like 15 minutes.

btw- about the train- I think it will be very hard to get ticket if the airport is still closed. Im just hoping for the best. Barcelona was amazing. Got to go the the Barca-Espanyol game too.

I was some kind of disappointed as no songs from THE ETHERNAL were played at Barcelona...

the band enjoyed a lot, with a lot of "guitar dancing", kim turned in crazy trance on Cross the Breeze, Shaking Hell and Expressway, the great highlights for me. one of my best particular sy shows.

My flight also got cancelled, so I wasn't present at the yesterday's gig. The setlist was off the chain i must admit, the best in the whole universe

omg, is Mark Ibold going to join SY tomorrow? I mean, I like him, I love The Eternal, but... holy shit, look at that setlist! Now it would be a shame if the Portugal shows were "normal", to be honest, lol.

Seems as if my flight for tomorrow is cancelled. My Sonic Madrid dream has dissipated in a cloud of volcanic ash.

I am sorry for you people who missed this show and now Madrid. I made it fortunately. I will add about last night razzmatazz was totally packed shoulder to shoulder. They packed them in like sardines. the upper level is really funny in this place you must be 4 feet tall otherwise to see because of the low ceiling thing. So you sit on the edge of the balcony with your feet dangling.

I think one of the highlights was when they were doing Expressway and Kim put the guitar on ledge of the barrier and into the audience, but people were so shy about touching it, I dont know why they didnt get more into it at that point, oh well...

There was also a limited edition show poster signed by artist for 10 euro. I think it might be same poster for all shows in Spain, we shall see later....

sorry for those that can't make it. what a shame La vie est Belle, give some people a little power and they decide to play God.....

those two are my dream setlists and I was supposed to be on those both shows! I'll never stop resenting that damn volcano for cancelling my flight!. What else do you need! oh yes and if they had decided to end that with The diamond sea I would have really gone mad! eh..

My only slight consolation is that with the exception of Death Valley and Stereo Sanctity, I have previously seen all these songs performed live before. Is that much of a consolation? No. No, not really...
