I've tried to watch Bad Girls, East Enders & Footballer's Wive$, but can't get into any of them.

My biggest trash tv gulity pleasure is watching the train wreck of Regis & Kelly whenever time permits in the mornings. I usually only catch a few minutes of it.

I can't stand the Real World, but sometimes I'll be flipping channels and see some kind of show about rich kids on MTV and stop for a second to snicker.

I saw a little bit of "Supernova" must be fun for a woman trying out for the band, Tommy Lee basically chooses them based on how much he wants to sleep with them.

we have the best comedy. terrestrial tv doesnt torture us with the same amount of ad breaks when a decent show is on...as say, america.

I knew someone once who looked pretty much exactly like Postman Pat.

Anyway, we are indeed blessed with a load of good comedy in the UK but apart from that TV is pretty bad. My guilty pleasures are Hollyoaks and the occaisional bit of The OC. I watched the first series of Lost but haven't bothered with the second. I just got someone to tell me what happened.

Now dig it: I am not a God freak. Not even remotely. Not a believer. But I really, really enjoyed this show. It was the improbable demands "God" placed on Joan that made it compelling, coupled with themes of typical teenage angst. It was low-key about the religious aspect--more subtly humanistically spiritual than religious, really--right vs. wrong, ethical debates, etc. I think the actress who plays Joan, Amber Tamblyn, is superb. Unfortunately, like anything of quality on TV these days, it was pulled after the first couple of seasons.

JOAN OF ARCADIA is a drama that follows a typical family facing atypical situations, not the least of which is their teenage daughter's conversations with God. A tough but soft-hearted police detective in Arcadia, Will Girardi (Joe Mantegna) dreams of providing a safe haven for his family and community. I probably watch way too much television than I should, here is some of the shows I regularly watch: Mythbusters, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (very funny), Last Comic Standing, Futurama, Supergroup, Reno 911, Chappelle Show, etc.
