I'm really getting frackin' pumped here!!! Here's to hoping for a 90 minute set. My personal request is Unwind. The crescendo to the end get's me every time I hear it.

I have a feeling this is going to be a great show.....really wish I was going. It should be interesting to see what "new" songs they bust out.

those this decade, but not with Mark in the band. "Sugar Kane," "Kill Yr Idols," I'm sure I'm forgetting several.

I hope he does tape. I talked to him last year about the 7.31.10 Brooklyn show, which he wanted to tape, but could not get there. That was a loss.

Pretty sure "Skip Tracer" has been played with Mark Ibold in the band. There are recordings from 2007 that include it. If i have the chance to look into my archives i can provide proof. Sonic Youth were supposed to play that one the last time they visited Mexico City, but either Thurston forgot how to play it (unlikely, as it had been performed already a few times during that tour), or he was given the wrong guitar; so they ended up playing "Mote" instead. Conclusion: They can't be teaching "Skip Tracer" to Mark, as he should be already familiar with it. Excellent news, either way.

they did "skip tracer" at the battery park show.

"Skip Tracer" was performed at the show in Wiesbaden, Germany on June 16, 2007 as well (just another random example):
