I didn't want to eliminate the brown area myself, a bleeded webpage creates scrollbar confusion. I did reduce the margin size though, thanks!

the layout is coming along little by little, i'm sure it'll turn out fine.

My computer keeps freezing when I open photoshop because I have very little RAM on this computer, so I'll do it later on another computer.

Now, while the layout is being made, is probably a good time to think up a name.

i really want to do some sort of joke thing like reviewing singles that came out 15 years ago.

i'm up for whatever, i can do pointless ramble, give it a title like "interpol sucks cock" or "myspace is for white supremacist odonthologists" and have people come to the site to complain about our misinformation and shit.

I think it is a good thing to get as much criticism as you can, especially from the boardies because it is going to be people like us that use the site. So it is probably in the best interest of the site to be picky.

But definitely, being contructive is the way to go.

There is, but I think Inhuman is putting up with it because it is in the best interest of the site's success to have the a good layout especially with the input from the boardies (a good sample of people that are likely to use the site).

Of course! It could be like in those fashion magazines where more than one person comments on the bad fashion of the week.

Thanks Kegmama! You're dead on about the criticism and ideas, I really like the constructive criticism, and as long as it remains constructive then there's no prob! It's nice to get some ideas and I'd be glad to have all of you working on this together with me, but I'm really not looking for joking around with it and writing about some of the ideas mentioned. Haha, even though I couldn't agree with you more everyneurotic about interpol, it would be better we keep their name stayed on pitchfork where they belong.

And Alex's Trip is also correct about why I'm asking all of you to help; because it's people like you that will be viewing the site, so suggestions are welcome, but I'm just planning to do sort of a general review site for reviewing artists too underground to go on pitchfork. But by all means we can have reviews criticizing terrible bands, I'd just rather not have official sections of the page devoted to them.

Anyway, in regards to the layout, I'm going to add a little bit during my spare today. There's a few more things I need to add (message board button, search box, Privacy Policy button, links) and fix (maybe switch "features" to something else, fix edges so they look better, expand columns).
