been honest .
i've got me own issues. |
i also immediately had to think of the eraserhead baby... especially the pictures in the first gallery reminded me. these people seem to have bigger issues than henry spencer in said movie though.
|
Everyone deals with grief in their own way... but jesus christ there is something very unhealthy about that family.
|
most definitely... at first i thought it was some sick joke or hidden anti-abortion site or whatever. it's hard to believe anyone would feel the need to post this on the internet.
when they asked the hospital if they were allowed to take the foetus home they should have been sent to counseling instead. |
I think this is a put-on. Surely?
It's not the pictures of the foetus that are disturbing as such; the whole thing is just too perfectly twisted to be genuine. |

But now I'm actually quite worried about how the whole experience is going to psychologically affect the kids... |
At least they didn't eat it, afterwards.
|
I'll say it again, you guys are heartless. Miscarriages can be very hard things for some people. Paying a miscarried fetus the same respect as a stillborn is probably a better way to move on then to think about your baby getting thrown in the trash or flushed down a toilet.
|
I'm sure they watch seventh heaven.
|
horrible.
reminds me of a jam intro, but obviously with absolutely no humour. after i clicked on the first gallery and got a flash of it i had to close the window. i can deal with anything on rotten, but this is horrible. |
that song "tootsie roll" comes to mind

I didn't find anything horrific about it. It was not deformed or anything, it was just really little. Nothing like the harlequin baby. |

not the actual pictures. just all of it in context with itself. i found it fucking horrible. i cant flick thru that site in good humour. i can thru rotten.com, and i realise that makes me a bit fkd up. but thats what the internet does to you. |
ok that just creeped me out.. i hadn't read the baby was only seventeen weeks so didn't expect a foetus ..
|
I think the worst thing about the whole site, is that the pictures take so long to load. I mean I want to see this dead baby in rapid fire, I wonder if they have any mpegs?

I have a girlfriend that works as a photo developer, and she sees horrible things sometimes. People have strange ways of dealing with their loss. She get's many negatives coming in, of stillborn babies, relatives in coffins, dead pets, car accidents, voyeur photo's taken on nudist beaches, drunken orgie party pics, you name it. What I find different about her clients compared to this family, is that most of them want to keep it private when they come to her for developing. This family on the other hand, wants to share their loss with us, and that's got something more behind it. It's a little perverse, if you ask me. Look at how misleading the website's layout is. It doesn't give the visitor much of a clue about the topic. You click a photo gallery and WOW! You get amateur pictures of a family, and their foetus. The thought that this could all be fake, is even worse. |
holy fuck
i looked now i'm ill |
websites like this one and rotten.com and ogrish bring my appetite back.
|
it's not the "dead baby" that creeped me out but the fucking people who pose with it that give me a transcendental nausea
|
i told you the kid is better off dead.
|
no shit. the parents are still roaming though.
|
their little girl is so adorable, with a big smile and a dead baby in the room.
|
i didn't go past a few pictures. it was like eating shit. you've seen the final scene in pink flamingos, right? divine holds it in the mouth but cannot swallow. well it's kinda like that.
|
i don't have a lot of feelings. i must be a sociopath.

I know. Yikes... And nobody in the guestbook finds it disturbing. It's all "What a precious little angel" and "The Lord can fix that" kind of stuff. |
Quote:
ha ha. that is possible. but you still have taste, right? in my case it wasn't a matter of pity or compassion (feelings that are overrated by christians & the like) but sheer repugnance. |
It struck me as more revolting for its vulgarity (particularly exposing children to it) more than the content ipso facto. I'm slightly dubious of its providence, although if it's a joke, it's not a terribly good one.

The crazy thing is that they obviously WANT people to view this "tribute." They put it on the Interweb.
|
Sickening.
|
pussy.

exactly. i propose using THEM for laboratory testing, instead of animals. now that's probably something we can all agree upon. except for scientists-- they could discover that those people might be a different species after all. anyway, where is john waters to make a movie about this when we need him. |
PUSSY!!!!
|
There's loads of this stuff out there. The music doesn't help at all.
Take a look at this Go to: Pictures/Tyler's funeral. |
Quote:
who? |
Quote:
Burying/having a funeral for a miscarried fetus is one thing. Posting pictures of it on the internet is something else entirely. |
"...and this is me with my baby brother! doesn't he look cute? he smells lovely too!"

Are you kidding me? People make websites for everything now a days. They clearly felt so moved by the beauty of their dead fetus and they were obviously were not accomodated during there grieving. They decided to start a fund to get mini hats for miscarried babies to puget sound area hospitals to help grieving families get over their miscarriages. You guys are really overreacting to this. It isn't really a big deal. I've got the feeling that a lot of people are disturbed by some of the pro-life overtones of the website. What did Steve Albini say about it taking real skill and balls to offend punks? |
Quote:
nope |

if you can't see what we find so grotesque and morbid about the website you're probably as bad as the people who made it |
