I'm not a fan of it myself. I was enjoying the wet and chilly weather the UK experienced throughout most of May. It's only just started to really warm up. Hopefully it won't last.

Excruciatingly average.

It's nearly 3am and I can't sleep because IT IS TOO WARM. I tried watching a movie but couldn't concentrate on it at all.

But yeah, my day was so so.

I found/rolled $460 worth of quarters that I hoarded when I was 10.

my day was slow and nice until broken pumps and overflowig sewerage ruined my evening. mmm 5 month old milk cream and coffee dregs overfloweth...

my day has been good so far. ive decided to quit smoking again.

have managed it for like 3-4 month periods before. but the last time i did it i just got really really fat instead. which was annoying, because at xmas i was skinnier than i have ever been.

About to start the day off with ham and eggs. If I had the ingredients, I would make myself eggs benedict, but I don't. Still, better than waking up at noon and having ramen.

Oh, I hate them. I'm used to falling asleep at 11pm and waking up sharp the next morning. I didn't get to sleep till 5am and woke up at 11am with a headache. I have NO summer clothes whatsoever, I was wearing blue cords and a navy shirt before I realised that there's no way I'm going to survive the day dressed like that... so out comes the swimming shorts... (I have no other shorts).

i woke up around noon. it's not 2:40. i'm channeling jackson pollock on the wardrobe department and feeling pretty good.

wtf is going on here?


smoking is delicious, but it fucking sucks-- and it's like being catholic-- you stay a smoker forever (the moment shit gets stressful you'll reach for the pack again). hail mary, etc etc. ha ha ha.

Yesterday i couldnt even sing in the japanese karaoke, i had chosen time after time. They said they dont skip any songs, but they certainly skipped mine to prioritize mafia people singing jpop and harry potter nerds drunken frsinatras.

Ive never been to me is always a good karoke..

yesterday was cool made a decision to remove the liquid handcuffs and will start the process next week. Should be a free man in 3 months or so. I'll be free to travel once the handcuffs are gone. In for a hot one today approaching 90..

Music in Pack Square tonight, a local blues band and jazz singer Kat Williams. Family-oriented (i.e., no beer vendors in the park) but I'm sure we will make a stop or two in the nearby pubs before and/or after. Woo hoo. Sharing this experience with a friend, and then dinner at the home of my friend Sunday night, and then Monday is a workday holiday. Woo hoo.

Next Saturday--all afternoon Beer City festival with local brews and about a dozen bands.

I have some good news, and I have some bad news.

The good news is, my bride is moving to Asheville. She found a job here with her present fed agency, and she'll be here by July. It's been a lonnngggg year.
