-lavender diamond i like a lot because, while being quite typical in their music, they do very well written and arranged yet simple songs.
-i seldom listen to the lyrics in any band and definitely don't play a big role in my liking of music.

Whoah that's crazy you said that. I got that album today, and that was the first song I listened to! It's a great song, I love the dual vocals at the start.

Bossanova sucks, and is one of my least favourite albums. I like Veloria though.

Trompe le Monde, on the other hand, rules.

I like Oasis and Blur and Incubus, but not their later stuff.

Blur are better than Oasis. Oasis are a boring working class band with a handful of ideas and a mouth to sell them, but not much more than that.

Dolphins are overrated singers. They only get good press because they smile all the time like idiotic creatures.

No way. The good song ratio is higher for Blur than it is for Oasis.

off the top of my head i can only think of one good blur song (there's no other way), although, i should admit i've never heard any of the songs from modern life is rubbish

I've alway found Oasis a completely indifferent band, and ditto Blur, until they went into their mockney phase. I could kill them all for foisting "Country House" on the world.
