These are some preliminary sketches for a project I am involved in. My friend Anthony Joseph Lanman created a Kickstarter to fund a CD/LP of his musical compositions, and one of the prizes given to 30 donors who donated a certain amount was to receive an LP of the album with artwork from one of three artists, and I am one of the three.

I have been stuck in a rut of being completely useless and unproductive. I have barely painted in the last 3 months. I feel like a piece of shit.I have an art exhibition in 2 months but have been sitting on my hands. It has me doubting my self as an artist. I feel like i am lying about being an artist and its all been a sham. The more i think like this the less motivated i become. Help me Dr Phil!

The existential truth of an artist. all ART is lies. don;t worry about it. They are ALL making it up as they go along, even the "greats". (Thanks BTW)

i m working with a miniature..like half my palm..i think i drawing out of my head. and i dont take measures. somehow its correct (the 2nd is), but it must be perfect, so i have to stop being lazy. yeah right..
and all i think, is food. sorry, as always i had to rant.

yeah, smth is surely off. in real life it doesnt look that much, but smth is off.
nose too long or i should have put the eyes lower.
