The whole 3 movies are a shameless "semi-parody" of all horror-surival-semi-pron flicks around, all the usual stereotypes are there and kinda twisted. The silliness of the whole thing is apparent and intentional, as is the scattered bad taste (heck, the body of a melting grandma put in a sack and used to calibrate a catapult which is actioned by a motorcycle that no-one-knows-how they brought up a rooftop?!?)
Now, you have all the rights to dislike that kind of shit, but "what they came up with" is cheesy on purpose, so don't complain, robby, you and your regressus ad uterum.
