Awesome mushrooms. I've come across some glowing fungi, I guess it was, while wandering through the woods (no rainforest though). The one I saw gave off a faint white-ish light. Not so faint I couldn't see it though - it did, afterall, catch my attention.

There's quite a few plants that have some kind of bioluninescent quality, but I think I live in the wrong part of the world to see them. It's pretty cool that you've seen one, I reckon.

Reading more about bioluminescent fungi, I came across Armillaria which is termed foxfire. It says the fungus grows on decaying wood in the right conditions.
This seems likely to be the one I saw.
