the new big business sucks!!!!! biggest let down of the year.

i'm actually not anticipating anything that much, the ones i anticipated so far have been let downs (with the exceptions of jesu and hella).

certainly not the new stooges, actually, i'm dreading the thought of listening to it. it'll probably sound like david bowie with distortion.

well, there's the new radiohead.

Likely both

We speak about the many collaborators on this record and the list is very interesting as Antony Hegerty duets on two tracks. Drummer Chris Corsano jumps into at least the 2 songs. New sounds and instrumentation are provided by Toumani Diabate who plays the Kora and Konono nr.1 with electric thumb pianos. More percussive delights come from Brian Chippendale from Lightning Bolt Great artists being drafted into the fold!

Oh, awesome! I don't even like bjork, and I won't buy this, but I'm looking forward to hearing how awesome it is!

I'm hoping the new Wilco album will be great. I expect it to be at least good.

Not many know it, but I am an obsessive Wilco fan. Whatever that means.

I expect the new Radiohead will blow. I'd like to be wrong about that, though.

Pink Reason's "Cleaning the Mirror" album is just around the corner on Siltbreeze.

No Doctors will have their follow-up to the awesome "Hunting Season" LP in April or May on 180g vinyl, I just heard.

I've heard four cuts from the in-progress album by Le Flange du Mal, to be titled "Carrion, My Wayward Son." Sinister creeping synthpunk!

I've also got a CDR of the upcoming Little Claw album which RULES! Think Hospitals or Sic Alps meets all the great Ohio proto- and art-punk from Electric Eels up through today's Times New Viking, plus a sparkplug female vocalist dripping in sass.
