Actually, I'm being entirely unfair. I've only ever seen one episode of CSI. I can't get involved in the personal lives of that many characters without losing track.

only lately in the recent season have they delved into it more, and I think it is because of the Hollywood writer's strike.

normally they keep the personal shit to a bare minimum.

the serial killer story line going on is insane.

The interpersonal crap, what I call the "soap opera" crap is why i cannot watch more th one or two episodes of the sopranos or of six feet under.

those shows are all about their interpersonal crap.

Depending on the show, I tend to prefer the opposite. If it's fictional, I find good characterization to be one of the things that will keep me watching the show. I wouldn't enjoy Law & Order as much, for example, if there wasn't a continuous storyline with the recurring characters alongside the independent criminal cases.

Now if we're talking Dr. G on Discovery, I just want the facts. Depends on the angle of the show.

The worst part about my trip to Las Vegas was seeing swarms of people, and vendors with CSI Las Vegas shirts, sweatshirts, hats, underwear, bathing suits, neck ties, g-strings, socks, and shoes.

the worst part of my trip to vegas was overpriced everything, cheesy stupid people, terribly dull casinos, dumb shit fucking papier mache looking decorations on the outside of every hotel/casino, no benches nor places to sit outside, $3.00 bottle sof water at vending machines, pimps dropping off hookers outside the Nuggett where I stayed at all hours of day and night, 114 degree heat, cheeseball shows of impersonators and worthless has -beens and never-were's and stupid fucking rollercoasters that cost $19 for ONE RIDE and tons of stupid shit everywhere.

game shows offer at least a small amount of exitement and the chance of winning big cash prizes. just because i post about them doesnt mean i watch them. csi lasts for an hour, gameshows for 30 minutes.
