i enjoy saying xiu xiu and yo la tengo...and man man....and gang gang dance...hell, anything spanish or repeated is fun to say...and captain beefheart is just great....

thinking economically, I'd go for something with 2 or 3 syllables...by that, I mean if I were creating a band to be popular...think about it, Linkin Park, Green Day, Radiohead, Nickelback....it works...which is why Godspeed You! Black Emperor will never be big with the MTV crowd...

hahaha scissor shock.

i actually googled scissor shock and a "best band names ever" list came up from the suicidegirls message board, and it was on there. i try to choose band names that aren't going to bring up a bunch of other crap when ya google them.

anyway, my favorite band name ever is my bloody valentine. good movie too!
