are you serious?!?! |
hell fuck yeah! anything that goes down at memorial high school gets played big in Houston news due to the large amount of well-heeled parents whose children go there. I remember the news casts, and I remmeber letterman mentioning it and mentioning it with admiration in his voice! (letterman is one of my heroes. I even started a Church of letterman to institute a new letterman worshiping religion, but it did not take beyond myself and one friend)

I love that you love Letterman. That man can make me laugh to the point of tears.

i was some sort of watered-down mixture between criminal, brain and basketcase probably, i was also quite quiet though.
|
I was captain of the math team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Most people at my school think I dropped out. Why isn't that an option?
|
I was in orchestra and art club and the class clown and the school's ultimate underachiever and damn, I must have driven the teachers insane.

I was quite extroverted back then in high school, and became quite popular among younger girls because of that accident that I had due to being caught while spraying grafitti on school walls. And, as my highschool used to be a very old, respected institution with high reputation, they gave me serious hard time and I almost got dropped out of it. But I somehow managed to stay in, and got this lovely feeling when girls were approaching me like: "oh, so you're the grafitti guy? now that's cool!".
So, it would be something between "criminal" and "basket case". |
I knew the whole of my year - didn't care for any of them really. I don't know any of them these days - my choice. I feel sad when I hear about what others from my year are now up to. None of them have moved on - they've all got jobs it seems and a bunch are pregnant - but they haven't moved on. Most of my year are the people who will buy property in the same suburb as they grew up in and continue the same life their parents lead. I was the quiet one - the one into arts, music inparticular. I preferred to save up for an analogue 4-track and other assorted music equipment than to go to parties and get in fights and all the other menial shit my year and my school did in general. None of them were like-minded to me but I wasn't necessarly the outcast - I have an ability to adapt to environments - not saying much basically and waiting for it all to be fucking over haha. My school was full of deadshits - most people nowadays are surprised to hear I even went to the fucking school.

I was class Vice President and Art Club President.....ha ha ha.
I told my friend (he's President) that we'll take care of the kegs for our 10th class reunion and the Historian can do all the rest.....he he. |
The Brain
I got disqualified from trivia games all throughout school because the team I was on would win by an unbelievable margin. I was relagated to keeping score or asking the questions. |
I was probably a mix of brain, basketcase, and criminal.
I was like the Columbine trenchcoat kids, but thankfully without access to their arsenal. So my only friend and I just skipped assemblies and stacked chairs on top of each other in crazy abstract art patterns in the lunch room. I'm sure the janitors must have hated us, but we were basically harmless - just fantasizing about killing those stuck up fuckers rather than really doing it. |
