I'm often disappointed to hear when a band is described as avant-garde and, rather than being, y'know, at the forefront of musical experimentation/ pushing the boundaries of what we understand by music, it's actually Mike Patton doing the same piss-awful gack he's been doing for over a decade.

i played music with a girl last year, and then we made the other kind of music a man a woman can make and it ruined everything, for every practice we had after thart she did a mike patton impression. it's hard to tell your girlfriend that she sucks at singing and that you don't want to play (music) with her anymore.

Never, ever make music with anyone you put your genitals into or intend putting your genitals into or perhaps have them put their genitals in you or even just rub said genitals. There are no cases where this is a good thing. If there are, it's all a long-standing lie to hoodwink Sonic Youth fans.

as shit as the arctic monkeys are musically they are on an independant label and actually their success is something of an inspiration,

its good to see that 'indie' labels can make money and release records that still sell well, especially since people arent buying half as many cds as they used to,

the truth is the majority of people dont respect music and are dickheads

Well blow me away! I seriously thought they were on a major label. Considering their inexplicable sucess, wouldn't a major label have snapped them up by now?
