T&B, I am going to have to give you a sound thrashing for dredging up the name of Shampoo, whose memory I had successfully repressed until now.

Even the good groups mentioned here so far have released more rubbish than quality. (Assuming we're dealing with generic 'girl groups' a la Girls Aloud, Sugababes, etc., rather than the likes of The Slits, etc.) It's probably more useful then to talk about great individual songs rather than groups.

Actually, All Saints were better than the Spice Girls. Lineloum were far from being a great band. They only had 2 songs that were fairly decent.

i meant is they were spice girls tag-alongs, copycats, opportunists, etc. but yeah, they are probably better on the grounds that i probably like one or two songs by all saints and like only half a spice girls song.
