Agreed. Plus, having just read Everett's Nirvana bio - there's some overlap - so I got a bit bored.

If you want a good intro to SY, this is exactly that. But TBQH, I'm a bit of a snob about rock books. I think if you don't have (a) unique access OR are a genuis writer or both (b) a desire to form a narrative out of said access / genius and (c) an encyclopedic understanding of the artist in question: DON'T WRITE THE BOOK.
