oh god, that is so irritating even if you're not the one being asked

Lurker 06.03.2008 06:00 PM

That's British imperial weights.

exactly. its fine to tell someone they look pretty but not like that. and weight comments of any nature are always uncalled for if you ask me.

Apparently 1 stone is 6.35 kilograms if that means anything to you. Also there's 14 pounds in a stone.

Toilet & Bowels 06.03.2008 06:56 PM

I've never heard this "end of play" nonsense.
i'm so glad i don't live in the provinces.

yes, sometimes it means this... but other times it means that "you always look pretty, but today you look very pretty"... or would it just be best to say what we really feel " you look fucking gorgeous today baby, i want to jump your bones right now"

Savage Clone 06.03.2008 08:53 PM

Remind me to not ever compliment Kegmama for any reason.

davenotdead 06.03.2008 09:06 PM

clone is right, what do you want bitches? cant even take a compliment for fuck's sake?

Death & the Maiden 06.04.2008 01:18 AM

When people say "of" instead of "have". eg "I wouldn't of done that."
Obvious internet ones: "your" instead of "you're", "there/their" instead of "they're".

✌➬ 06.04.2008 01:39 AM

"You looking for tonight?"

Johnny "Magic Fingers" 06.04.2008 01:46 AM

DISCLAIMER: Kegmama is very cool and I'm very grateful that she was nice enough to rep me for some smart-ass post I did ages ago. However...

Annoying Phrase:

"A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence"

Silence isn't the medium. Silence is part of the paint pallette. I'm not being John Cage's whore here. Lotsa composers use silence. I hear lotsa stuff in silence. I'm also hopelessly insane . . but that's a road we'll visit next time.

jon boy 06.04.2008 03:17 AM

genius! i hate it when people say that about mundane people or things.

MellySingsDoom 06.04.2008 06:07 AM

By the time Cantankerous returns back from Manc-land, she'll be saying "Aye", "Job's a good 'un", "scran" and "fookin'". Innit.

sarramkrop 06.04.2008 06:14 AM

all this while she's ''having it large''.

SuperCreep 06.04.2008 06:16 AM

"Chillaxe."

I accidentally used it yesterday. I wanted to off myself off a bridge. :7(

Toilet & Bowels 06.04.2008 06:27 AM
