it's always nice but still i'm kind of annoyed to always hear the same chord progression in all the new songs. Ludicrous.
Anyways it does sound like an outtake and i hope it's not a track we'll find on the next record or else we're in for a new disappointment, i'm telling ya.

I'm not that keen on the song but I like the idea of it: low vocals, twinkly guitars, A Thousand Leaves-type atmohsphere.

I'd rather an album in this vein than another Rather Ripped (which I liked) - the songs would need stronger melodies though (epecially if there are no vocal melodies) and to build-up to something. Slow Revolution just drifts by.
