I LOVE repetitive music!

At the moment my favourite repetitive music band is Blues Control.

LittlePuppetBoy 07.30.2008 04:42 PM

Swans are repetitive, but in the INTENSE way.

Same with Fela Kuti's music (except for his sax playing and singing)

HaydenAsche 07.30.2008 05:38 PM

Rap isn't terribly repetitive.

You got to let the beat build, bitch.

Repetitive music that's decent makes me think of techno.

viewtiful_alan 07.30.2008 06:03 PM

No love for The Ramones?

gualbert 07.30.2008 06:09 PM

Never thought of them as repetitive.
( most of their songs sound the same but that's another matter )

Get away from me with your ACT words.

MellySingsDoom 07.30.2008 11:52 PM

The trance-like greatness of the Master Musicians of Joujouka IK would say counts as repetitive up to a point. Using melody phrases and insistent and ever-building cross-rhythms to build up a hypnotic wall of sound.

atsonicpark 07.30.2008 11:52 PM

someone told me the fall was too repetetive the other day, so I played him "repetition" and we had a laugh.

Death & the Maiden 07.31.2008 06:20 AM

I think most of the music I listen to qualifies as repetitive.

Death & the Maiden 07.31.2008 06:22 AM

When I first saw this thread, like everyone else, straight away I thought of The Fall's Repetition.

atsonicpark 02.22.2011 11:34 AM

I'm listening to Richard Villalobos. Great repetition. It sounds like it never changes but there's all these super small parts changing consistently.
