Leave the dude alone. I'm not super keen on all that Ethiopian stuff, in fact I don't give a shit about it at all, but I'm not telling SuchFriends to shut up just because I don't care for that.
I mean, to be honest, Synthy's babbling about how he made up with a cute boy here and there and yada yada are quite annoying in my opinion, but I like the boy cause he is of no harm to anybody so I don't give him a hard time. (Synthy, sorry, no pun intended, I just used you as an example here. I post loadz of crap myself).

just real curious and i would like a reply from suchfriends.. ive repped him before and i do think the guy is an addition to the forum, some of his posts are real intresting but i remember when he gave up the smoking for a bit..he stopped talking all about raggae and started talking about hardcore punk.....

Paulybee - from what I recall, he's been studying the language for quite a long while, and wants to actually live in Ethiopa. I'd say to him go for a holiday first, as the realities of living out there may not quite add up to the "romance" he may have about the place...

I post these threads for the same reason everyone posts threads here, I have time to kill, this forum is an option. THat is all, I speak my mind about things, just like everyone else. These things just happen to be whats in my mind, and if you guys dont like it, you dont have to read it. Jesus it is voluntary!

my name is Habte Selasse, I speak a little bit of Amharic, I attend Ethiopian Orthodox Church services beyond regularly, many of my friends are Ethiopians, all of the rest are sympathetic to the cause of Ethio-awareness etc. My motivation for Ethiopia is personal interest and religious sentiments, as well as a deep cultural affinity. I venerate the Ethiopian royal family, I cherish its long and rich history, and the lifestyle is fitting my own aesthetics [pertaining to, involving, or concerned with pure emotion and sensation as opposed to pure intellectuality]. Further a significant portion of my community either is in Ethiopia, is an Ethiopian, or is working just like me to get towards Ethiopia in the nearest future.
