Might be the "eye" of the storm, so to speak. |
the eyewall didn't hit until 2:10 am in Galveston.
4 million are without power (for up to two weeks they say) and thanks to flooded sewage treatment plants they are stuck with bottled water. all in all it doesn't look that bad on the news though. |
I HAS POWER AND WATER
WOoooooOOooo! Going to go jet skiing on the bayou later if we are allowed |
good
wasn't that bad then? |

you lead a charmed life. congrats on not getting Tina Turnered. even though you have water, you might consider boiling it first. I would. but then again, I don't like drinking poop. |

I have loads and loads and loads of water bottles |
I finally was able to get on a friend's computer.
My house got fucked over. Tree hit the roof. FUCk... |
that sucks alan. i know if a hurricane ever hits over here that a tree will likely kill some portion of my house.
|
Power is still on here, still have drinking water, too.
Thank God. We were spared. |
I'm so happy for you...
|
i wonder if people will ever learn that they need to get the fuck off the coast if they don't want to be hit by a hurricane.
|
cantank: nope.
|
every year would flood in the midwest and on the news it's always the same goddamn people floating away on their couch. idiots.
|
We weren't gonna flood that was pretty obvious, we just knew there would be some wind and rain.
|
My areas pretty legit
I even went to the Houston Country Club to hang out in the sauna Had some margaritas with some buddies I have 8 of my friends from the River Oaks/Montrose area staying over because they don't have power out there Supposedly 75% of Houston is still without power And it will be another 3 weeks until EVERYONE has power Some people got power back today, some yesterday So that's good Good luck to eveyrone out there |
have we heard from Rob or Bytor?
sounds like Bytor's place might have been hit pretty hard (although I know they evacuated). doesn't Rob work downtown?? ps crypto: enjoy yr 9pm curfew, playa'. :p |
Our powerlines started working again, then caught fire.
