I hate handkerchiefs.

so by alienating yourself from one scene you are pledging yourself to another?
good job! |
better to quit now than be one of those 50 year old dudes who still dress like they did when they were 20. i look foward to seeing 50 year old emo twits still trying to large it on myspace.

I'm getting up there, and I'm still a fashion victim.
I do change my styles occasionally though; most MySpace teenagers look an awful lot like my friends and I looked in high school. The only difference is the availability of products to make your hair do ridiculous shit. We had to be pretty inventive in the 80s... |
well, there's nothing wrong with being concerned with style. i'm talking about guys who never progressed beyond a certain style that was popular in their youth and is identifiable to a certain period, e.g. aging punks who still dress like it was '77. it just looks rubbish.

I like ageing goths. They're my favourites. Especially the sexy ones. Mmm. Sexygothmilf.com. That's my first website venture. There's a lady wanders around my town with a pushchair + kids and a huge mohican. She must be in her mid-30's. Respect is, quite literally, due. |
There is this guy. I see him on my way home from work. Wears dog tags, this one does. All black? Yes. He is funny.

Hoorah Hoorah. Great thread, Robin.

What made you change your mind about the clothes?
A few months ago you were totally into it, and a few weeks ago you told me you liked the look because you think it's attractive. Why the sudden change when you could have quit a while ago? How much money did you spend on clothing, belts and hair stuff again? |

In clothing, about $300.00-$350.00. I still do find some of the aspects of the style attractive, but others pointless and rediculous. Another reason is the breakup with Tor, because I realized that despite the fact that it's a little attractive, I'm attracting people that are into me for the looks, as well as people that are nothing like me that have a completely different personality/ music taste. I will still wear kerchifs and tight band shirts because I like them, just not conform to something and follow it's conventions. |
uhhm,
ok. |
good for you.
|
But you can dress your age and still look perfectly fine. It's only when you don't know what suits your body and personality and your start dressing like your daughter or son that things go downhill. Can i also discourage men and women of going peroxide blonde at a certain moment in time?It very rarely works with wrinkles.
