yr a good example of what I was thinking of... there's a lot of newbs or semi-newbs or whatever lately that have fit in with us "old-timers" seemlessly. Automatic B, Shifty Prophet, Looking Glass, etc. Lots of new folks that I'm glad are around.

I totally agree. I lurked for a long time before I got the nerve to join. It's sort of like wanting to know how deep the water is before you jump off the cliff.

I have not experienced much hostility myself, and if I do who gives a fuck. The one's who have been here the longest have given me the most rep. I read a thread yesterday where a new member was just totally assaulted in a way that is in no way sarcastic by some one who felt they were more knowledgeable.
