hah, unless there's something cool in my pile of inherited 45s... i don't really have any rare records. all my shit is reissues ... or bargain bin caliber.
except for some weirdo french beatles bootleg my parents gifted me ages ago. i don't think it's actually rare because it sounds like some of their hamburg shit. but i don't know anything about it. meh. |

I know! That's why I'm glad she's in Machete. She needs to stick to some crazy shiz. I wish she'd just do insane horror flicks. |

Really. It's time for her to drop any dreams she had of ever being taken seriously and sign on with Seduction Cinema to do some lesbian vampire porn! Come on Lindsay - listen to your fans!!! |
is machete a movie about the guy from mariachi?
the guy who was the uncle in the spykids? his charater is machete right? |
probably some stupid noise record I got in a trade that's worth a billion dollars now

i dont have too many rare ones, i guess slowdive's just for a day would be the most valuable

Misfits - Bullet 7" (2nd pressing)
Crimpshrine/Jawbreaker 7" |
I have the Flying Nun 25th Anniversary boxset. But that's not a single record, so I guess it's Golden Days: When Giants Walked the Earth by the Laughing Clowns. It's a ten track compilation that's out of print, worth about $50. I paid $17 for it.

I don't know what the rarest record I own is, but I'll tell you what took the longest to get a hold of - Hole's My Body the Hand Grenade. After breaking my original copy, it took me well over three years to find another one.

I don't like thinking of my records as rarities. I probably have some things that are rare but that's not why I value them. I value them for the things that those early issues have that reissues don't--best reproduction of the packaging, best sound, etc. Or because there are tracks that aren't available on something else.
At the same time, if there's a great reissue that accurately reproduces everything about the original, I'm just as happy with that. And there have been a lot of those in the past few years from labels like 4 Men with Beards, Sundazed, et al. |

i have this, it's not too hard to find. also have the ask for it EP and the retard girl 7'' |
I don't have too many rare things ... So I guess that Mahjongg Tour EP handmade CD-R I bought at their gig a few weeks ago, which is so rare you can't even find information about it on the Internet.
Also, the autoproducted version of the first album by Gomm, a french band. It was re-released on a bigger label (PIAS) one month after its release, but I bought it when it was first released. Also I should have Campfire Songs by Animal Collective pretty soon. |
