you know what i love about you Canadians, Metric. I must have seen them live...twice. See them once, and once only, everyshow is pretty much the same. the songs are clean and emily goes up and does her stupid formulated jigs.

I went last year but I don't think I'll go this year because I'm not really into the same bands. I've seen metric twice and Jason Collett once, but I'm not really into them anymore and the only act I'd be going for is broken social scene and wilco. But if you get the festival pass or you're going on the 16th, eppiphane is supposed to be pretty good. Then you can also see Controller.Controller, which are decent. Last year Final Fantasy played and he's excellent! If you come to the Sonic Youth show in montreal we'll see them!

And yeah...metric seems to be the same every time. The second time I saw them the place was packed with 13 year old girls though, so I felt really out of place and the crowd was TERRIBLE. They were hardcore moshing to metric...

I'd go mainly for Controller.Controller.

I was JUST about to mention that but it slipped my mind. We'll have pre pubescent kids running around at a blues festival...

It's even more dumb than Kid Rock and the Black-Eyed Peas playing last year.

James Brown is playing at my town on Friday. On Thursday the Who are playing here as well. I'm going to see them.

you stay away from epiphane, when they had the blind guitarist it was something, but now it's just nothing. i think out of all ottawa bands i hate them the most .yeah controller.controller might be good. last year i only went for one day which was four tet and do make say think. other than that it was pretty empty. RJD2 would have been amazing but the show got cancelled
