I find her voice, her music to be incredibly nostalgic and whimsical. I dig it. Somewhat skeptical of her new album, but I'm interested to hear it.

i think you misread, or maybe i wrote confusingly. i worship her fine ass-- i don't like her music. the visual/erotic pleasure of her spectacular culo does not translate into musical enjoyment for me.

I fucking love what I've heard so far.....as much as I loved Ys at the time, it now seems claustrophobic compared to what I've heard from HOOM so far. HOOM seems miles ahead.....Ys was too clever, too calculated.....HOOM seems to be flowing, relaxed, natural......I dunno.....that's what I'm hearing so far. And her voice is so much more "normal" here......ironically, that part might seem "calculated", hahahaha......

I love "Kingfisher". I'm getting really excited about this record now. It kinda sounds like what I imagined Ys was going to sound like based on the descriptions that were going around at the time...which is to say this is what I wanted Ys to sound like.
