Cantankerous? Borderline. It appears anyway.

That wouldn't be racism now, would it? On account of Australia being a non-hegemonic culture? Predominantly caucasian, yes. Largely descended from convicts, yes. But not a single race, so far as I know. Unless the government has finally killed off your indigineous people, which wouldn't surprise me.

Must Blah Blah Glice Blah Blah

porkmarras 10.07.2006 12:30 PM

I still don't get the whole hatred for Hayden and Shaturnine(hehe) there.

HaydenAsche 10.07.2006 12:31 PM

Sonic Susie is a nut. That's the only possible explanation.

2 different thingsz, ;) .

Being Xenophobic is fearing someone's race. I don't fear a bunch of fucking idiots from Australia.

WRONG.

porkmarras 10.07.2006 12:45 PM

xenophobia, sorry to correct you there.no offence intended.

Everyneurotic 10.07.2006 12:49 PM

i'd like to take this opportunity to say i am not racist, xenophobic or sexist; just wanted to clarify that.

after all, ignorance and stupidity don't recognize race, country or gender.

porkmarras 10.07.2006 12:55 PM

Wow!Whooo!Gay!You've done some research there!Whoooooooo!

porkmarras 10.07.2006 01:31 PM

Nevermind, inthe contest you put it in it still doesn't sound correct but still......no aggro there!

Everyneurotic 10.07.2006 01:58 PM

i've never heard or read "xenophobism" used by anyone who speaks native english; same in spanish, racista is someone who practices racismo, and xenofobico is someone who practices xenofobia.

PAULYBEE2656 10.07.2006 02:15 PM

The term racism does not restrict itself to just colour.

Two different things? There is a very fine line, if even a line at all. But both just as ignorant.

It doesn't, but I'd be surprised if you could come up with many instances of a 'race' which is not defined by its ethnicity. Nationality likewise does not restrict itself to colour. Australian is a nationality, not a race.

Yes, but referring to someone being anti-Australian means they are anti- that nationality. If I said "Aborigines are all thick as pig-shit", that would be racist, on account of Aborigines referring to the race of indigenous Australians. Australia is not... actually, fuck it. You're an idiot. I can't be bothered.
