I cried at the end of air bud, the beautiful sight of a dog playing the game of basket ball, a game originally only for those with 2 legs.
His furry majesty radiated my eyes with tear waves, and I bawled into mother's shoulder for an hour |
The Lion King.

The first ten minutes of UP made me cry. So did the iron giant
|
i have a hard time bringing myself to cry at films (or anything), though i want to at times.
the only film i've cried while watching was the green mile when i was eleven or twelve. that percy cunt killing del's rat before his execution...goddamnit. :7( |
i cried (very briefly) during the dark knight. no, i don't know why, either.
movies don't make my cry very often, which seems kind of off to me, because i'm pretty prone to crying. sup, i'm a wuss. |
Babe: Pig in the City

there are a lot of things in that movie that got to me. especially when his wife and daughter left him. i always liked that one scene where he watches his daughter dance naked in a nude booth and she ignores him. its insane |
as I've already stated elsewhere Ole Yeller. Also somewhere else The Time Traveller's Wife got to me. Agreed on the Iron Giant. Both versions of The Champ, King Kong (original), and of course Brian's Song.

I never cried for that movie, but now you mention it, I can see why one would. Mulholland Drive in many parts; especialmente when it comes to the scene from which I stole my avatar. The Funeral - Chris Penn... Barry Lyndon - when the kid dies; it is cold-heartedly edited, I couldn't help crying. And to some lame movies too... Show some people gazing... Put some mellow music... Cut back to a kiss or whatever it could be... Back to more people gazing... And I'm soaked... |
No one else has seen UP?
best animated film in years. the beginning is heartbreaking sad... |
Rob cried like a baby when Heath Ledger was smelling Jake G's coat toward the end of Brokeback Mountain.
|
I wil watch that movie when I need a good cry then....
|
Anyone cried at a movie not cos it's sad but because it's so good? I watched High Noon again this afternoon (hardly a sad film) and there's a bit towards the end where Gary Cooper walks out on his own to face a gang of outlaws. I always feel my bottom lip start to go during that scene. It's just so perfect.

tarzan of greystoke got me when i was a kid. when the older monkey dies at the end, i was inconsolable.
|
![]() I cried last night watching this Czech documentary. Extremly sad and disturbing, 14 years in a life of a heroin addict woman shrunk to 2 hours. One of the most unsettling films I've ever seen. |

yeah, i only get overly emotional during films when there's some sort of awesome display of heroic underdog arse kicking. For example probably the last film to get me choked up was Kick Ass when Hit Girl is murderizing all those mafia guys. Martial arts movies and Star Wars get me very emotional. |
