Well, the Smiths are a Christian family, so I gave Megan a saint wallet from Mexico, which is a miniature shrine that folds out/snaps shut, and inside there are are miniature pictures of Jesus and Mary, a miniature Rosary, and some prayers in Spanish. She was delightful to talk to. I told her how I loved her backing vocals on Sufjan Stevens' "Michigan."
