suspected of fathering hundreds of children to pregnant teenagers.

The mixtape has been hitting my G spot recently.

loubarret 06.03.2011 05:51 AM

it's ok, it's clear where the big hype is coming from(Zach Hill) but it just keeps sticking to me as some cool demos for a project that never will get futher

Derek 06.05.2011 06:09 PM

I didn't even know Zach Hill was involved until I was way into it. It made sense when I found out though (a real 'duh' moment).

Derek 09.30.2011 04:53 PM

saw them live last night. their MC is fucking insane (cool pagan tattoos also).

j/k, i listened to it once and didn't get it at all.

anyway other than the usual suspects (Nas, Kendrick, Ross, ASAP, GOOD Music, etc) i can't wait for Meek Mill's debut. and 2 Chainz. and surprisingly French Montana.
at least 2 of those 3 will be a strong AOTY contender. calling it now.

louder 04.17.2012 11:15 AM

actually i don't know why i mentioned ASAP. tbh i think Rocky is some hot garbage. yeah the production he raps on is great, but his rapping is mediocre and he gets a lot of help with the lyrics and beat selection.

my thoughts on rocky are similar. if it wasn't for beautiful lou, clams and squadda and araab muzik producing his shit i honestly wouldn't care about him. he recycles lines 3-4 times on an album. sure, weezy was guilty of recycling lines in his prime(pre-carter III) but at least his lines were more clever than rocky's.

i don't understand the whole concept of "hipster-hop" still. i assume you just mean non-traditional hip-hop? the rap that's cool with the "kids" these days? i always assume people are talking about the whole minneapolis/doomtree/poetic bullshit hip-hop kids when they say that.

art school kids with minors in creative writings

louder 04.17.2012 12:22 PM

true, Weezy didn't rely on those beats so much either.

that whole weirdo/"swag" rapper movement which seems to be the cool thing to like these days.
includes Odd Future, ASAP, Lil B, RiFF RaFF, Das Racist, Death Grips, etc.
don't take it too seriously though, admittedly i like some of that shit and i'm far from a hipster.

SpaceCadetHayden 04.17.2012 12:23 PM

i am hipster

louder 04.17.2012 12:26 PM

those people also really dig ignorant trap music such as Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka (ironically of course).

SpaceCadetHayden 04.17.2012 12:28 PM

me that's me i do that

louder 04.17.2012 12:34 PM

oh Gucci is awesome. Flockaveli was a pleasant surprise. not feeling ironic though.

davenotdead 04.26.2012 12:10 AM

money store is tits.

louder 04.26.2012 07:48 AM

dunno if i won't forget about that new Death Grips in a couple of months, but i like it too.

not as much as that new EL-P ofc. but still.

Genteel Death 04.26.2012 08:05 AM

What's the new EL-P like? I will need to get that.
