I'm not wearing enough clothes to dignify that with a response.

is it ok if i say "ewwwww"?

i mean i like you, as an internet person, and might enjoy sharing some beers in real spacetime, but the though of you in your underpants, or less, is just damaging to good digestion.

I did not realize it was the sort of book that required an in-depth analysis of each sentence...which isn't to say that it doesn't mean anything, but the book is very wordy. And I hate using "wordy" to describe any book, because all books contain words. What I'm saying, really, is that you have access to all of the main character's thoughts, so every situation presented is elaborated upon and picked apart in her head for us to see. In other words, the book explains itself. I didn't read the book for class though, I just read it on my own time, so I wasn't required to overanalyze it.

the bits with his mad ex-wife running about in the attic were quite good. anyway, it's not the sort of book that requires great explanation, my teacher was just stupid, and she thought her students were even more stupider.

Possible rubbish, but major points for individual identifiability. I also like this particular camo pattern a lot:

War in Iraq chic?

I went to see Broken Social Scene last night. That was fucking rubbish. I was assured I could get in free but I had to pay in the end. Double rubbish!

Toilet & Bowels 08.30.2006 08:34 AM

so what's their music actually like then?

nomadicfollower 08.30.2006 03:55 PM

The Purtitans are rubbish.
(yes, I've been forced to read about them)

i couldnt get a bank account in berlin today despite having lots of money and walked around several places trying to get one only to be told i need some piece of paper that i dont have, that was very rubbish.

Iain 08.30.2006 04:21 PM

That sucks. What piece of paper do you need?

Anyway, as far as I can tell, Broken Social Scene are basically tedious, 'epic' indie rock. The stupid amount of members onstage seemed to be used to make a lush studio sound rather than do anything interesting. Y'know, few guitars, bass, drums, keys, horn section...it all adds up. Utter shite.

I played a few games of squash earlier. Lost 'em all. That was rubbish but fun to be fair. Weather is shit. That's rubbish.

There's this girl where I work who I am attracted to and I haven't worked up the courage to talk to her. I am rubbish!

static-harmony 08.30.2006 04:34 PM

static-harmony 08.30.2006 04:39 PM
