Oh you know, strikes and gutters.....just been trying to find a decent full time job which you'd think would not be too hard with a degree and all. Fucking whores.

Cantankerous 09.19.2006 01:07 AM

what sort of degree do you have?

krastian 09.19.2006 01:33 AM

I was an English major.

Cantankerous 09.19.2006 01:35 AM

you should be able to get a decent full time job then. bastards.

cryptowonderdruginvogue 09.19.2006 01:36 AM

static-harmony 09.19.2006 01:37 AM

no. i haven't really decided whether i'm going to go to college but the answer to that question right now is leaning really strongly in the favor of "no."

do you have a good job or plan?
sorry, you dont have to answer, just wondering.
im in school but i dont know if its the path i want to take.
however, to make my other plan work, i have to go to college for 4 years.

Cantankerous 09.19.2006 01:44 AM

not to toot my own horn or anything but i make a lot of money considering what i do, which is probably because i've kissed a lot of ass and i know my employers on a personal basis.

ah okay, well thats good!!
congratulations and all that jazz.
you think you'll have the job for a long time and such?
is there room for growth and such???

i have my own company putting events and concerts together
nothing big or anything, but im self employed and its nice.
ever since school started its been kind of slow
i had taken the year off to dedicate my time to the company
did pretty well and such, invested in a couple of other things outside the business
but yeah, i get really bad anxiety cause i wish i could do more but i just dont have the time
school makes me feel all scattered brained
i have to juggle a million things.
etc.etc.etc.

nah, but seriously, don't you manage a record store?

My college advisor steered me away from medicine, risk mangement architecture and law because, as he wisely explained, the really big bucks are in retail management.

Cantankerous 09.19.2006 01:52 AM

no, i won't have it for long, i'm moving in a month and i'll have to get another one, where i will kiss some more ass and develop personal (non sexual) relationships with my employers.

not really. i work there but i don't do enough work to be considered a manager but i'm there a fuck of a lot more than anyone else who works there. i used to manage a kinko's though.

static-harmony 09.19.2006 01:53 AM

My job is union so I can't become a manager.Unless countless people die...mmh...

cryptowonderdruginvogue 09.19.2006 01:53 AM
