my point! thats what *i* want to hear in 09 tour! ;p old stuff and weird covers... ha! |
thats always good. and I am looking forward to hear murray street in a whole again. hahaha bit that will never happen I think
|
maybe murray st.'s anniversary =P
ooo karen revisited live <3 |
yes like the DDN dont look back tour, hahaha
oh yes karen revisited was just awesome. I am glad that I got the bootleg of the concert I were |
they really should consider playing Diamond Sea, it's all I need.
it's their classic, ballad song. hit. wow. stunner. |
definately.
that ones high on my list too. and every lee song is a gem. I would love to hear NY G&F but thats another thing that will not happen I think |
Quote:
I like NYC g+f too, but it's too experimental for their live sets now. less impulsive then other records. |

where did you meet him? |
yes but when to we find out what the 09 tour is like?
|
so
i met Thurston yesterday. After playing our weekly cricket game, he told me he had read this thread and submitted yr ideas to the band. Sadly they were all rejected. ![]() |

when they'll play first show, probably in Germany where I'll be :) Quote:

I actually have genetic on a live dvd from 92(not pro) but really good quality, when I manage to get on you tube I let you know For me Starpower, Brave men run and On the strip would do it for me |
i think i would just drop dead if they played Tom Violence. i love that song so much.If i sould ever change my name, that one will be it.
A thousand leaves stuff would be cool too. Inhuman would be awesome. Catholic Block Sympathy for the strawberry |
^^^amen
i grew to like this LP with time. thought it was weak /thin (which it is anyway) at the beginniong but once you've mastered the production concept (lightweight) , it's really enjoyable. live it's nice. |
I believe now in new album. can't wait.
|
I would really like to hear Sunday and Panty lies :D
|
I second both of those.
|
i wish i liked the new songs.....
|

they have only previewed two so far, so we will see how the others are when they are released! maybe they will be more likable. i'm not a huge fan of the current No Way, but I do like Mars. |
i like different parts of these songs, but hey sound like an undigestable patchwork.
Mars could be ATLish but sounds wacky just right now oh well. gimme some decent Yooof. |
^ it will be good, they never disappoint. (?)
|
yes they do.
|
you mean rather ripped?
|
nah i'm joking.
I lurv da Yoof. They won't fail (again), will they? |
absolutely not, new label, new ideas, they will do some new music.
for sure more noisy one than last on geffen. |
Anything from Bad Moon Rising, especially Brave Men Run (with Intro), I Love Her All the Time, I'm Insane and Death Valley '69.
|
I'd like Snare Girl. With sparkly lights and blue and red spots. That'd be nice

I'm sure if they were able to figure out Rain King they can figure out Diamond Sea |
Dirty Boots, Karen Koltrane, I'm Insane, Saucer-Like
|
Quote:
well it's not if they can , but if they WANT too, certainly songs aren't ever coming back like Stereo Sanctity (i think Thurston objects) Cinderella's Big Score (Lee and Kim don't wanna relearn it), but as for others we'll see |
it's kim who doesn't want to relearn "stereo sanctity". thurston bristles at
relearning "theresas sound world". ain't he a fucker. |
Quote:
yeah, that's true, although I'm fairly certain they were considering Diamond Sea for either the 02 or 04 tour. |
on that note, why doesn't Kim want to relearn stereo? I thought Thurston had trouble with the lyrics or something.
