dude, i'm like a tad more awake than sleep walking, i didn't sleep well last night and abruptly woke up; worse yet, it's not a very good day (nothing to do, rain all damned day, which i normally like, plus crap with some people).

i'm going to get some juice and maybe try to write something, i was hoping to record some songs but i really can't play guitar today.

Don't worry about it too much. My friend played a show last weekend and he plays rather...intensely. More physically than anything. But anyway, he cut open his arm on the strings and his pickups were literally covered in blood.

His response to the bleeding was "Hey, shit happens!"

i'm kind of the same. i'll hurt my ankle at gym and keep on going. which probably isn't very good, but it beats sitting around.

Whenever i'm hurting in gym I use it as an excuse to sleep in the nurses office for the remainder of the day. It's great! But the nurse hates it...

haha. i used to pull that to get out of back handspring drills and skip half of practice. coaches got pissed at me.

I don't like bees. I'm allergic to them yet always seem to get stung at least once every summer. The worst was when I was in Bulgaria for a month 4 summers ago. My dad and I were at a beach resort place and got in a fight about something stupid. Before I knew it I was kicking a rusty swingset and getting swarmed by yellow jackets. I got stung 3 times and my throat started closing up so I had to run back to the hotel (a mile and a half on the beach with a closing throat is hell) with topless old women all along the way. I took 3 benedryl and slept 4 hours.

i have a friend who almost died from a bee sting she had to call the ambulance she was choking with her own tongue.

i got stung by a dead bee once in a pool my finger swelled a little i cut a little X to get the poison out the next day all was well.

i like bees because i like good raw honey & pollen & they are generally among the smartest of bugs-- bees & ants & all the what they are called whay they are called-- hymenoptera. bumblebees in particular are extra-cool, and completely harmless.

Well I like bumblebees. It makes me feel good that male bees die after stinging, fucking bastards.

last week, my editor asked me for a little filler material and to contribute a bunch of small reviews of noise/underground stuff, i reviewed sunburned hand of the man's z, nadja's touched, scissor shock's the mars travolta, polysics' karate house and kevin drumm's sheer hellish miasma reissue and he now offered me to have my own little review section of noise and crap!!!!

So Jade, I have the guitars and vocals down for our sonic collaboration thing. No drums, as I'm only one man and it's hard to record both drums and guitar at the same time. I sing in the clean guitar bits, and the rockin' bits I left vocal-less for you to sing in. I don't know whether you wanna howl 'i love herrrr all the tiiiiime' or perhaps sing along next to my vocals in the verses so it's... duet..ish..?

I've just won an Easter Egg in a raffle! All this week our canteen has given a raffle ticket to each person buying a meal. I've had one meal this week, and the ticket I was given was drawn as the one to get a luxury Easter Egg!

The people in my office who buy lunch in the canteen every day aren't very pleased with me ;)
