Hey Joel, welcome back on the net!

Hello everyone. Clicking here will take you to a silly simple game that's reasonably good fun.

static-harmony 11.16.2006 04:43 PM

how do people make their links to look like that?

Hip Priest 11.16.2006 05:34 PM

Instead of doing the normal 'url' brackets, in the first one the 'url' should be followed by an equals sign, then the web address, then close the brackets. Then type the text that will form the link, then put the second set of url brackets as normal. I hope that makes sense.

Actually, when you quoted my post, you would have been able to see how it's done. Try clicking quote on it again, and you'll see what I mean.

sonic youth is a statement to the pop art culture, andy warhols of music. I discovered them in '89, changed my percepcion of music for life and have followed closely ever since. even though I find that not everything is sonically appealing, I still want to hear it and have all.

Hip Priest 11.17.2006 03:06 PM

Hello BsideDirtyGuido. I hope you enjoy being a member of the forum, because there's a lot of good people here.

And hello to everyone else, too.

Hye, Seb. How's yr day been?

Hip Priest 11.17.2006 03:16 PM

My day has been really nice.

How about yourself?

k-krack 11.17.2006 03:19 PM

Pretty boring, I had two spares in the morning (math spare being the awesomest thing ever!!! (My teacher is, honestly, the worst teacher I have ever had))

So, my day was incredibly easy/boring, with two art classes int he afternoon. All in all, pretty boring, but I am going to my friends bands' show tonight, which shall be great.

Hip Priest 11.17.2006 03:31 PM

I had work, which for a job is about as nice as anyone could reasonably ask for. Then I cooked a very nice meal, and soon we're going to have a drink and watch a dvd or something.

Hope you enjoy the show.

k-krack 11.17.2006 03:39 PM

Where do you work? Office job...?

Thanks. Enjoy the dvd or something.

Hip Priest 11.17.2006 03:42 PM

I work on a community project, helping to run a shop and community centre.

We're going to watch a few more episodes of On the Buses. We're on series five at the moment.

k-krack 11.17.2006 03:47 PM

Oh, awesome! Sounds like a great job! I'd love to do a community-active thing when I'm a bit older... I'd like to open up some kind of venue, as there is basically nowhere (affordable, at least) for shows, aside from one bar (19+).

Never heard of On the Buses, until I just wikipedia'd it now.

Hip Priest 11.17.2006 03:56 PM

It's great job because we're the friendliest place on earth. Setting up was easy; we're not funded at all, by anyone, it was just a matter of finding an empty building to rent.

The centre (and the two paid jobs) is supported entirely by the money that the shop brings in. The shop sells a mixture of Fairtrade goods and donated items. People can then use the rooms for whatever they wish, for next to no cost.

All you need is an empty place to rent, and to sell other people's unwanted goods. Involve everyone and be friendly. We have two paid staff and some volunteers.

On the Buses is classic comedy.

static-harmony 11.17.2006 04:01 PM

That sounds interesting building and renting it.
