Last week, it was reported that Birdman and Young Thug may be charged in relation to the shooting of Lil Wayne's tour bus in 2015. While the district attorney is still weighing the options, evidence has just been released that seemingly proves Birdman's involvement in the crime.
The decision to possibly charge Thugger and Stunna came as somewhat of a surprise. Although it may not come as a surprise to some, Birdman and Young Thug were reportedly in contact with Jimmy Winfrey, the shooter of Wayne's tour bus in 2015, before everything happened. One of Baby's phone calls with the man was leaked and an Atlanta news outlet happened to find it.
In the phone call, Birdman tells Winfrey that it was time for him to "come out and get [his] money." He assured the man that he did "everything [he] could do, boss." The same report alleges that Young Thug had called Winfrey 8 times in the 12 minutes leading to the bus shooting, which is definitely pretty suspicious. Some of this information is certainly damaging and may have led to the district attorney deciding whether to charge them or not.
Thug and Birdman were not previously charged in relation to the crime. Have a listen to the report below, which was reposted after airing locally.

Funny thing about that is on his Twitter there were people defending that comment. They were claiming that he was talking about the prison system and nothing to do with slavery. When he literally never even said a word about the prisons. If he meant the prison system he should have said.
