Hello and Goodbyez. I'm sleeping, bitches.

Anyways: Funny story today: went to video store, picked movie, shop clerk was mumbling something.

Me: Sorry?
Clerk:I'm sorry, I have a tend to talk to myself
Me:*Rofls
Clerk: It really is a bad habbit.

Then I left. It was funny, his face, it was completely idle and he looked like he hasnt slept in ages.

Haha!

Hip Priest 05.25.2007 05:25 PM

I'm feeling quite exhausted, as the past two days in work have been very busy for me. But it was fun.

what were you guys doing? a big sale?

Hip Priest 05.25.2007 05:39 PM

My work colleague was away so I was alone organising volunteers, running the shop, looking after the centre. I was looking after some children for people too (a 6-year-old girl yesterday and a 5-year-old girl today. They're really nice, and they help out in the shop, on the till and all of that). It was fun.

How's work for you at the moment?

Everyneurotic 05.25.2007 05:46 PM

just a quick stop because i'm going to a show in a few minutes.

i haven't owned a bike since i was like 8, i don't like them.

it's good, thanks, we're very busy, we have some jackass clients who are trying to get a huge price discount after the terms of our work had been established-- in other words they are trying to rip us off. but that's the risk of doing business; and as a whole, things are looking up. we never know when we're going to have money but it's always exciting. new projects on the pipeline.

you were single-handledly running a shop? that's quite a challenge. i would go crazy with it!

Hip Priest 05.25.2007 06:03 PM

Shop and community centre, but I can handle it. I'm a pro. And it really is a lovely place to be.

When I have a difficult customer, I like to adopt the polite-but-amused approach.

oh, very nice. i wish i could do that polite-but-amused thing! :D

Everyneurotic 05.25.2007 06:17 PM

bye kids.

Hip Priest 05.25.2007 06:18 PM

!"£$%!: It kind of winds them up without giving them anything they can complain about or latch onto. Top fun. And then I get to charge them more for things; as far as I'm concerned, what you pay in my shop is directly related to how pleasant a person you are.

I'm glad that business is getting better. You've been sticking at that for a good while now. Dediation and perserverence deserve to be rewarded, I always think.

Everyneurotic: Goodnight. Sleep well.

!@#$%! 05.25.2007 07:20 PM

thank you thank you, yes. i could not give up on this and it's finally starting to work out.

it's funny you'd do that with the price. we do the same-- "sliding scales". the more difficult the customer, the higher the surcharge!

schizophrenicroom 05.25.2007 08:30 PM

i'm really glad it's all working out, !@#$%!

sebastian- that's good the kids were helpful. it's not the same, but i wish my brother was more interested in helping when i clean the house.

k-krack 05.25.2007 08:38 PM

In reference to the bike-speak up there... I actually just got in from a bike ride. I need a better bike.

As a bit of a funny little note... I bought the Communist Manifesto... at Chapters, of all places. How communist is THAT.

And thanks!

!@#$%! 05.25.2007 09:45 PM

LIGHTNING BOLT AND Aa TOMORROW NIGHT!!! I win man. I'm so fucking excited.

k-krack 05.25.2007 10:56 PM

Niice! Lightning Bolt are so fucking ass-kickin' (need that be said, really...?!)
But I refuse to listen to Aa, based on their stupid indie-rock/pitchfork-style name.

That is a very ridiculous thing to do. Yet they're deffinitely more of a live experience band from what a friend of mine has told me. I'll fill you in on sunday but goodnight for now.
