I haven't been to a spanish class in years. My spanish teacher was from Barcelona though, and she was hot.

my science teacher did that.

i didn't have to take spanish this upcoming year but i figured it couldn't hurt.

drrrtyboots 05.31.2007 09:28 PM

My science teacher hates me cause i'm too talkative or something. She tried to give me an administrative dentention but the vice principle told me i never do anything wrong so hes gonna throw it away and let me go. Karma's a bitch, bitch.

schizophrenicroom 05.31.2007 09:40 PM

oh, score.

my spanish teacher would get on my case about talking. pffh. i don't think i talked enough.

SynthethicalY 05.31.2007 11:38 PM

I never had any spanish classes in High School, not that I needed it to speak, I speak it well if I may add.

schizophrenicroom 05.31.2007 11:42 PM

oh, we have to have three years of a foriegn language (i've had four counting middle school) in order to graduate.

SynthethicalY 05.31.2007 11:46 PM

What we only need two. SO far I have none.

schizophrenicroom 05.31.2007 11:49 PM

get crackin!

i think i might change my spanish class to something else. hm.

SynthethicalY 05.31.2007 11:50 PM

I might take sign language.

schizophrenicroom 05.31.2007 11:52 PM

ooh! i wanted to take latin originally but it's not part of ib. the latin club has so much fun, and unlike the spanish club it doesn't meet the same days after school as band.

SynthethicalY 05.31.2007 11:54 PM

I would like to take latin too, I love learning ll about languages.

schizophrenicroom 05.31.2007 11:55 PM

i love, love all african languages. especially dialects with clicks. i think they're beautiful.

SynthethicalY 05.31.2007 11:57 PM

Yeah, god I just like learning new things about the world.

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:01 AM

ah, me too. especially religion. i haven't had a religion for a while but whenever something's on history channel about the bible i'll watch. there was a thing about lost books from the bible and it was so fascinating.

i wish i could find my huge word origin dictionary. it shows when words first came into usage and their original meanings that have changed over the years. in the 1300s "nice" used to mean strange, for instance.

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:08 AM

Wow, I would like to get one like that, what was the dictionry called? I like watching about religion, even though I am not religious in any way, but it has a profound effect on our culture, so it is important to know what people who are religious really are into. I also like to watch on the History Channel when they don't have things about hitler, about the industrial revolution.

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:10 AM

I will be back in twenty minutes schizo. I need to go out for something.

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:12 AM

ok, cool.

i can't stomach watching stuff about the nazis for too long.

i think it was just called "word origins".

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:13 AM

Well they are still not ready. Ok I will look it up. Sounds interesting.

Everyneurotic 06.01.2007 12:14 AM

ohh man, i'm a history nut, i'm planning on going to the library and getting a bunch of history things.

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:16 AM

There was this History teacher I had last semester, and wow was he amazing. I might take him again.

Everyneurotic 06.01.2007 12:18 AM

my favorite teacher in high school was the history one.

and speaking of history i must say that, as much as i love history, i hardly watch the history channel, they distort things, every time i see something (that isn't about war, which seems to be the only topic they touch now a days) it's always a little skewed and has omitions and it irks me, plus most of their footage sucks. very disappointing.

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:18 AM

i've had the weirdest/coolest history teachers. i had the same guy for two years and he was either really cool or really tough. had a neat way of teaching.

i just watch the history channel for religious specials. i can't stand the bias either but often the subject matter and how i'm interested will override it.

american history is boring to me, though. i'm partial to ancient rome and england.

Everyneurotic 06.01.2007 12:22 AM

my high school history teacher made this rule that whenever someone talked unless he told us to, the whole class would slap his head (including him), and he had to put his left hand on his pocket the whole time, if he took it out, then we would slap him. it was awesome, he was so informative and so into talking about things and everything would turn into a jokes competition but we would hardly steer away from the subject.

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:24 AM

I think American History is kind of amazing, especially when they arrived, all the way leading to the revolution, and the civil war. Also the industrial revolution, the poverty, the immigrants, god I love American History a lot. I think it is amazing, I would also like to learn the History of England.

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:26 AM

we had so much fun when we got to the '80s and '90s in my class. it was just my teacher doing his sparkling commentary. he'd stop talking then go "heh, monica lewinsky" or something weird.

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:27 AM

victor- i really love the 1920s.

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:29 AM

Yeah, that was a good decade, I also like the fifties as well, god all the events that led to the sixties.

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:31 AM

i really enjoyed the fifties and the jet set movement. we got a lot into feminism during the sixties and seventies. my teacher's rant about the ERA was hilarious.

Everyneurotic 06.01.2007 12:32 AM

what i've learnt from history is that every time, ever where something happens and there are reasons why they happen.

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:33 AM

Oh yes, I think the early sixties protester had it right, I don't like the hippies who chose to drop out and tune out. That is why the seventies went to the conservatives, also the eighties.

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:35 AM

the seventies were a joke, imo.

Everyneurotic 06.01.2007 12:36 AM

you are way caught up in your own conversation. i'm steering clear.

goodnight.

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:38 AM

Goodnight everyneurotic.

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:39 AM

But the politics of the seventies reflects so much of what kind of politics we have today.

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:41 AM

ah, man.. see you, every-e.

exactly. but getting into politics makes me sick.

how was your day?

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:43 AM

I like politics, I used to follow it incessantly, but stopped. My day was okay, work was hectic. And can't wait for tomorrow, I get paid.

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:46 AM

i tried to. instead i just read ohnotheydidnt and follow lindsay lohan's adventures in rehab. it's infinitely more entertaining.

my mom's planning to take us for breakfast but i doubt i'll be up.

SynthethicalY 06.01.2007 12:51 AM

Oh yeah Lindsay Lohn is funny, There is this Paris for Prison myspace page.
http://www.myspace.com/prisonforparis

schizophrenicroom 06.01.2007 12:53 AM

haha yeah, some woman in kansas city said she'll go to jail for paris.

the whole thing is hilarious. i'm loving every second of it.
