You know what I hate about High School contest in writing, is that if you submit something that leads towards the negative, you are looked as crazy.

drrrtyboots 06.09.2007 12:33 AM

Kids in my school don't like me or think i'm weird because I read Burroughs' Queer in class last year and now American Psycho. But it's because most of them have yet to actually pick up a book in their lives.

SynthethicalY 06.09.2007 12:35 AM

I want to get Queer next time I go to the bookstore. Right Now I am reading something on Greek Mythology.

yeah, hahahahaha. my classmates and teacher liked my story, though; some actually wanted to know if it was autobiographical, asking me if the girl in the story was supposed to be someone from school or if i was going to kill myself. wankers.

my teacher, actually, wanted to publish one of my poems in a poetry journal or magazine and she always told me that she was "about to" talk to people and get it done. for some reason, she stole it.

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 12:38 AM

nick- my "friend" at the time i was reading invisible monsters said the cover was "weird". pffh.

victor- oooh. i want to check out the judaism section or find something about saints. and i remember turning in a story freshman year about eating disorders and people thinking i must have had one. god.

every-e- i didn't want to get into the scene, either. good thing i didn't. they all ended up going to the crappy school and failing.

drrrtyboots 06.09.2007 12:38 AM

Queer is a pretty good read, very short though.

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 12:42 AM

i was supposed to be in volusia voices (our county "journal" for students) but my teacher never turned it in.

that sucks, they get your hopes up. not mine though, at least not a lot, i thought that poem she ran away with was pretty lame.

i want to go to the library to find history stuff, whatever, i'm cool with everything.

i'm currently re-reading lords of chaos for like the 12th time.

SynthethicalY 06.09.2007 12:45 AM

My teachers never paid any attention to me. I was just a number, funny though. I remember just going fot two or three classes almost daily.

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 12:46 AM

i'm still reading special topics in calamity physics. i'm going slowly because i'm too busy picturing myself as the character jade than i am just reading.

a few of my teachers over the years couldn't have cared less about me. luckily though, i've had a few i've really connected with. they've all been the same, kinda-nuts really-cool kind.

that happened to me when i read on the road for the first time.

i've had teachers that either love talking to me or hate me to no end. very few have been indifferent.

SynthethicalY 06.09.2007 12:52 AM

yeah, mine where the older types who saw us as the fucked up generation, and who already grew weary of teaching. I had one teacher who used to talk to herself.

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 12:53 AM

my science teacher last year would come into my mom's store just to tell her how much she enjoyed having me in class.

SynthethicalY 06.09.2007 12:54 AM

Well I am off people. Take care.

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 01:09 AM

what are your plans this weekend, everye?

Everyneurotic 06.09.2007 01:10 AM

as i said, was to see satyricon tonight; tomorrow, a friend is celebrating his birthday playing an improv gig so i might go there and, any chance i have, to record some music.

you?

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 01:16 AM

ah, cool.

tomorrow night's family dinner night, and on sunday (i tried to negotiate so hard) GOLF. no sport invokes so much simultaneous rage and insane boredom than fucking golf.

hahahahahaha, sorry to hear that. i certainly wouldn't trade places with you, may you be strong to endure all the golfing.

sorry for mocking your pain, but i hope you start laughing now so you can get thru it the best way possible.

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 01:25 AM

thank you :) my mom's boyfriend is really into the game, but if i'm not moving all the time, i don't consider it a sport.

anyways. i wanted to see battles in tallahassee but i can't. fuck.

drrrtyboots 06.09.2007 01:25 AM

I'm working tomorrow and then sitting with my guitar until i finish writing this song ive been working out. Then probably reading a couple of hours, doing the same on sunday.

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 01:27 AM

i want to start working out a story idea i have.

drrrtyboots 06.09.2007 01:28 AM

Ahh, wonderful. I've just been writing a lot of poetry whenever i feel is the most spontaneous time to do so.

Everyneurotic 06.09.2007 01:29 AM

hmm. if i could work out a reason with the mother why i need to travel 65650 miles for a band that's not sonic youth, this could actually happen. but beware, i talk in my sleep.

drrrtyboots 06.09.2007 01:31 AM

Tell your mother i'm here and i'm fucking awesome.

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 01:34 AM

that might work :) if i say "cute boy" she usually approves. not sure what to make of it but i don't really care.

Everyneurotic 06.09.2007 01:47 AM

good night guys, i'm off to bed.

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 01:48 AM

drrrtyboots 06.09.2007 01:51 AM

Well the mirror doesn't lie to me so you dont have to lie to her ;)

schizophrenicroom 06.09.2007 02:04 AM

hahaha.

but in all seriousness, if i got money, i could just say i'm at a friend's house for the weekend/day/whatever. no one needs to know. just a matter of making up stuff.

drrrtyboots 06.09.2007 02:16 AM

This is true, that's the same way I end up going to shows in philly cause if my parents saw the neighborhood that they were in...god, they would shudder and cry.

king_buzzo 06.09.2007 03:54 AM

Good Morning, roight?

HECKLER SPRAY 06.09.2007 04:10 AM

Morning buzzo !
Last night, I had a... deesagrement with Porkamarras, on the "Worst country" thread. He tried to get on my nerves. In my opinion, he ruined the thread. He wanted to fight against the only french guy who was on the board at the time. I don't understand this guy. He always wants to feel superior by posting some unpleseant remarks. Sometimes I want to tell him : "What are you doing here, if you hate every post you read ?"
I understand why atari can't stand him. I just read half of his posts/threads.
