I have thought CLM has been just backing group of Thurston. I got that picture in a CLM gig summer 2013 (the others of the group just stood & played when Thurston was the only one who has fully in music). Also Thurston composed all the songs in CLM-album. I think Thurston just wanted to name that band differently than his other bands.

And he's expressed regret about not using his real name for that band. I thought maybe he'd play with them for US tours but it looks like that's not the case, so maybe they're done?

That would be a damn motherfuckin' shame. And since when is he so worried about such bullcrap? Is it that hard to list your band in the posters and flyers like this?

I don´t think he´s re-recorded Germs Burn and Detonation. That´s ok to me, because I don´t have that single.

I think there's another version of these two songs, as they were recorded especially for Blank Editions (?), plus he plays Germs burn different on the gigs. E.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puh1uPJZD58

Ok, nice to hear. I just remembered that Thurston said in some interview they will become to the album also. That was then when the album name was still Detonation. And I have got the picture the material in Best day haven´t been recorded on the same sessions & not even with the same musicians.

Yeah, it´s really great! Just the direction where Thurston needed to go!

I first heard Germs Burn about a year ago and it's changed a lot since then. Like a lot of songs do from the first time they're played to when they get released. I like the versions I've heard live lately and hope the Album version will be more like them.
