Definitely. I like his playing in '69, Altamont and such, but man he starts to really cook in '71 or so. Of course, his playing on Sticky Fingers is particularly amazing studio work too.

It's crazy how the Stones allowed themselves to really be kind of shown up by the wunderkind on all these tours, but yet, when he demanded more songwriting credits, they axed him. I guess Keith figured that a lot of people attending big shows would just assume it was him busting out those hot licks...haha.
