it was well too crowded... couldn't swing a dead cat! twas a tad unfair that noone could dance in the dance floor, and i caught the sniffles in a really bad way(boohoo)
but the show was pretty good, better than the last time at the enmore. i have been aching since |

Did anyone catch that short snippet about Kim walking into a dress store and buying some designer clothes in the paper today? It was in the "S" liftout of the Herald.

yeah? I saw the Melbourne show and she seemed fine, into it etc. she put on a great gig. you've got to cut her some slack, she's got athritis in her hands so it's pretty taxing for her these days (she is 55). but she was dancing around for the encore when she was bass-free. I was well impressed. |
Kim didn't seem too bad at the first Sydney show. I didn't think she was unenthusiastic, and she didn't sound too bad.
|
She never seems to smile.
|
I have a few new favourite songs because of the show - The Sprawl, Hey Joni, 'Cross The Breeze.
|
I'll have another concert at the Enmore Theatre in a few months - The Jesus and Mary Chain.
|
More like Jesus and Mary Lame.

kim was great when she sang, much better than in the albums, and seemed to enjoy it after about halfway i even got a smile lee's vocals were perfect too, though being at the front the bass was too strong and most of the time the vocals were drowned out (thurstons especially) as for the space, i was 'second' standing row, with enough space around me to fit at least 2 other people... |
