Bumpit bumpit...
When will we see the results?
I don't know, probably sometime early in the next week. It would be great to have more votes, but the top has a clear shape now. I still wait for votes though =)
religous knves-remains is also a great album...
yeah it's got its moments, just heard that one the other day.
Agreed =) though I still prefer Double Leopards (I think one or two DL dudes are in Religious Knives, right??), especially Halve Maen, I think it's a real masterpiece
Bumpit bumpit, vote vote vote :D

I'm really bad at deciding/making lists and that's why I normally never do them... so I'm glad you are all here tonight to witness this special event.
Anyway, today it's: 1. Electric Wizard - Dopethrone 2. Circle - Prospekt 3. Double Leopards - Halve Maen 4. Boris - Feedbacker 5. The Dead C - The Dead C 6. Sightings - Absolutes 7. Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein 8. The Ex - Turn 9. Sonic Youth - NYCG&F 10. Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso UFO - New Geocentric World I'd make an entirely different one next week or even tomorrow I'm sure. |

o, and the monster island czars are way to oft-verlooked. kind geedorah is the shit. that record ranks with the ebst hip of the decade me thinks; along with canox, viktor vaughn, ghostface, madvillain, clipse, etc..
its wierd to me though, people always gush over mf doom, but never talk about that record, wierd

Ah! I was about to bump that thread actually. Thanks to pokkeherie and therealglenstyler for their lists. thereal, I took them as they came, so Jane Doe was first, Chris Clark second, etc.
To people who hasn't vote yet -> if you want to do it, you should do it quick, as the results will probably come on Wednesday or Thursday ! |
I think I might already regret mine, but you're welcome.
getting curious about the results now. |
yeah, i did mine off the top of my head with out really thinking about it, and as a result i forgot can ox, and few other things. still, forgeting stuff makes the list writing progress easier.

In no particular order:
Camera Obscura-Underachievers Please Try Harder Stephen Malkmus-Face The Truth Silver Jews-Tanglewood Numbers Mogwai-Mr. Beast Broken Social Scene-You Forgot It In People Built to Spill-Ancient Melodies of the Future Sunny Day Real Estate-The Rising Tide Sean Lennon-Friendly Fire The Sea and Cake-Everybody Sonic Youth-Sonic Nurse Verbena-La Musica Negra Sparklehorse-It's a Wonderful Life Ugly Casanova-Sharpen Your Teeth Holopaw-Quit +/or Fight! Johnny Cash: American IV: The Man Comes Around Modest Mouse-The Moon and Antarctica Pinback-Summer in Abaddon Sonic Youth-Murray Street Radiohead-Hail to the Thief Thom Yorke-The Eraser I figure Kid A has enough votes as is. Plus at this moment in time, I am more into Hail to the Thief than Kid A. And I actually loved Thom Yorke's album. Not that they should be compared |
